Enhanced Security: Multi-Factor Authentication Now Enabled by Default

Dear Valued Customers,

We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our security measures. As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting your data and ensuring the safety of your accounts, we have enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by default across all our supported sites including all of the booker + group of sites.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

Multi-Factor Authentication is a security process that requires users to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to an account. This adds an extra layer of security beyond just a username and password, making it much more difficult for unauthorized users to access your account.

What This Means for You

  1. Increased Security: Your accounts are now better protected against unauthorized access, phishing attempts, and other cyber threats.
  2. Peace of Mind: With MFA enabled, you can have greater confidence in the security of your personal information and data.
  3. Easy to Use: Our MFA system is designed to be user-friendly, causing minimal disruption to your regular login process.

How It Works

When you log in to any of our supported sites, you'll now be asked to provide an additional form of verification after entering your username and password using your preferred Token application (with the native Safari passwords integration being the recommended option).

Next Steps

  1. Update Your Contact Information: Ensure that your contact details (especially your mobile number and email) are up to date in your account settings.
  2. Choose Your Preferred MFA Method: Log in to your account and select your preferred method of receiving authentication codes.
  3. Stay Informed: We'll be sending out detailed guides on how to set up and use MFA on our platforms. Keep an eye on your email for more information.
